You do the Maths commenced in 2006 and was founded by Western Australian Mathematics teacher, Warren Beckwith.

What we do.....

We are primarily a Mathematics tutoring business, but we also provide resources and games suitable for individual and classroom use.

Our tuition occurs in a friendly atmosphere, at our office, your home, or online. The emphasis is on patience and understanding. We offer assistance at all levels of senior school, including all of the Mathematics and Mathematics Specialist courses in Year 11 and 12, and students working towards their OLNA assessment. We can also assist mature age students who are attempting bridging courses at University or TAFE. Tuition is delivered by a qualified teacher, who is registered to teach in Western Australia and has undergone a working with children check.

Testimonials

"

You do the Maths enabled me to access expert help for my Year 12 son in his last year of school.

He could email questions to Warren in advance prior to their sessions. Having the option to connect using skype from Albany made it convenient, flexible and affordable.

I have been using You Do The Maths resources for a number of years and have always found them to be of the highest quality. I have paired the YouTube channel with the accompanying text and it has proved to be my go to resource. One of the greatest benefits of You Do the Maths is that it is accessible for both teachers and students and having the YouTube channel allows you to access the material on the go.

My seventh graders really like the game. They ask if we can play the Australian game. It was great to have when I started working with integers. I use it during my time at the end of the day when I have small groups. It works well with all skill levels. I will try it with my 8th graders soon.

The kids like the excitement of the strikes and the double cards. We talked about how many strikes, negatives, and higher point cards are in each color. This will be good to examine when we do more with probability.
